It is true I was drawn and glued on this day in 2007. Born at the end of the micro pen by the artist to which this website belongs. It was at a small desk, found at a thrift store or an estate sale that she painted orange. A small desk that yielded small work, with supplies stashed away in the four drawers. Stationed brightly in the living room of a sun drenched west Texas mid-century modern house when a proper studio was not available. Until recently, I lived in a slide sheet because I am the size of a slide.
I exist on the most common variety of card stock. The color is from one of those stinky Chartpak markers that will get you high if you are not careful. The color is pastel-like and the pigment bleeds in all directions. I made my debut on dayburner.blogspot.com back when people looked at blogspot. Do they still?
As collages go, I am pretty minimal. I reside more in the category of illustration. My edges are fairly crooked. I cannot remember why I have those pin holes down the left side.
I was exhibited in a gallery exhibition in 2010 and was well-received. The show was called, "What I Made Here" back in the small west Texas town. By that point, we (the other ladies, the artist, her husband, dog, and all the other 2x2's) had moved away. The artist was glad to never go back. When the show came down, the work was sent back, eventually unpacked, and I went into the slide sheet in the binder.
